The short definition
Brazilianaire™ (noun): an owner of a beauty studio whose business is anchored by the Brazilian wax and the services that naturally sit beside it — brows, threading, lashes, facials and full-body waxing.
Manzilianaire™ (noun): an owner whose studio serves men's grooming, anchored by the Manzilian (the men's Brazilian), back and chest waxing, and brow grooming.
Neither word is about income. They describe a kind of business — one built on a service people return for on a regular schedule — and the owner who chooses to build it.
Where the words came from
Magical Waxing® opened its first studio in Atlanta in 2016. As the brand grew to 6 studios and began franchising, the team wanted a memorable name for the people who would own and lead those studios. "Brazilianaire" was a playful blend of the brand's signature service and the idea of an ambitious business owner. "Manzilianaire" followed for the men's side of the menu.
Magical Waxing® has filed trademark applications for both terms, which are pending. That's why you'll see the ™ symbol after each word, and the ® symbol only after Magical Waxing®, which is registered.
Why the Brazilian wax is the anchor
Every salon concept needs a core service that brings people back. For a hair salon, it's a cut or color every several weeks. For a nail salon, it's a fill. For a waxing studio, it's the Brazilian.
Hair regrows on a fairly predictable cycle, so clients who like smooth results tend to book again every three to six weeks. Many also become comfortable with one esthetician, which builds loyalty. Around that core, a studio can offer brows, threading, lashes, facials, vajacials and henna — the menu at Magical Waxing® has 60+ services in total.
For context, client prices at Magical Waxing® studios start at $35 for a women's Brazilian and $50 for men, with eyebrow threading from $10. Those are what clients pay; they say nothing about what an owner will earn.
Who the Brazilianaire™ path suits
- People who want to lead a team and build a local brand rather than perform services themselves.
- Former corporate managers, nurses, teachers and entrepreneurs who enjoy people and process.
- Beauty professionals ready to move from the treatment room into ownership.
- Investors who want a recognizable concept with a defined system and training.
You don't need an esthetics license to own a studio; licensed estheticians and threading specialists deliver the services. What matters is a commitment to hiring well, holding high standards for cleanliness and comfort, and showing up in your community.
Who the Manzilianaire™ path suits
The men's grooming path is for owners who see men as an underserved audience in beauty. Many men want professional grooming but don't feel at home in traditional salons. A studio that welcomes them by name — with a menu of the Manzilian ($50), back, chest and brow services — opens a second client base inside the same space. Learn more on our men's grooming franchise page or visit manzilianaire.com.
What being a Brazilianaire™ is not
It isn't a promise of wealth. The name is playful; the work is real. Opening any franchise involves capital, risk and effort, and results vary from owner to owner. Magical Waxing® does not make financial performance representations on this site. If any appear, they will be only in Item 19 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.
How to become one
The path starts with a simple inquiry and moves through meeting the team, visiting the Tucker flagship, and reviewing the FDD — which you'll receive at least 14 calendar days before signing anything. See the full five-step process, or review the investment and fees.
