Each fee, explained plainly
Initial franchise fee: $35,000
The franchise fee is a one-time payment for the right to open and operate a Magical Waxing® studio using the brand, system and training. It is non-refundable, so be sure you've done your homework before signing.
Estimated initial investment: $199,750–$339,500
This range, from Item 7 of the FDD, estimates the total cost to open your first studio. It includes the franchise fee plus categories like leasehold improvements (build-out), furniture and equipment, signage, opening inventory and supplies, technology, training-related travel, grand-opening marketing, deposits, professional fees and additional funds for the early months. Where you land in the range depends heavily on your site: rent, size, the condition of the space and local construction costs.
Royalty: 6% of gross sales, weekly
The royalty is an ongoing fee for continued use of the brand and access to franchisor support — operations guidance, system updates, and ongoing training resources.
Brand fund: 2% of gross sales, weekly
The brand fund pools contributions from studios to support system-wide marketing and brand development.
Local marketing: 4% of gross sales, monthly
This is a required spend on marketing in your own territory — the local advertising that brings new clients to your door.

Financing
The franchisor and its affiliates do not finance the investment. Prospective owners commonly explore SBA-backed loans, conventional bank loans, retirement rollover (ROBS) programs, home-equity financing or partners. Talk with a qualified lender and accountant about which option suits your situation.
The 14-day FDD rule
You receive the FDD at least 14 calendar days before signing or paying. That waiting period exists so you have time to read the Franchise Disclosure Document carefully and review it with a franchise attorney and accountant. The current FDD was issued December 15, 2025.
